That Neil knows his stuff is beyond doubt. It’s obvious right from his first meeting with your dog. But unlike many trainers, he also understands people. That and his generous back-up support make his training not just effective but excellent value for money.

We first met Neil when our very lively Springer Spaniel Harvey was a young puppy having been recommended by someone we knew who was finding him very helpful in training her Labrador puppy. He certainly helped to change all our lives for the better!
Harvey immediately responded well to Neil's calm, assertive leadership which showed us just what Harvey was capable of. We have since worked on a number of things - recall; pulling on the lead; travel sickness; discipline and nutrition and the improvement in Harvey is amazing. Neil has always focused on coaching us to be cabable dog handlers so that we can fully enjoy Harvey's energy and exuberance and he can be a really happy dog.
It is a fantastic thing to see someone who has truly found their vocation in life, and Neil certainly has. We are very grateful to him for his coaching and encouragement and have already recommended him on to others we know.

Hello my name is Frankie and I would like to say a huge thank you to Neil for helping my owners help me. He was recommended to us and we had 3 visits training my owners how they can best look after me.
He was always patient with all of us and didn’t mind how often they contacted him for support and advice. He taught my owners strategies to use and we practiced these in between visits. I leave my food until instructed; I wait at the bottom of the steps before being invited in to the house. I love my owners and I think they really enjoy my companionship………..thank you Neil for EVERYTHING. Lots of love and licks Frankie from St Leonards
'My cocker spaniel had just reached 12 months old and had developed habits that we could not correct even though we had read books and taken advice from other dog owners. These including pulling on the lead, jumping up when anyone came into the house, not listening when off his lead in the fields and I wanted to overcome this while he was still young.
Neil was recommended through a friend and it was the best thing we did, within 5 minutes of Neil being in the house Hedley was laying down next to him and not making a sound. Neil took in account our life styles and Hedley's personality and gave us advice and help to correct the behaviour in a non-aggresive way we could all understand. He also explained why Hedley did react in certain situations and we soon realised we needed to change what we were doing quickly.
With Neil's advice and on going support and our work and patience, Hedley is now a much calmer and better behaved dog who is much happier as he knows his boundaries and what we expect. Both my husband and I are so glad we met Neil and we can now look forward to years of owning a happy dog'

Thank you so much for your advice regarding Dufus and Obi. Dufus now tolerates Obi being around but will give him the odd swipe if he steps out of line or gets too playful.
Please find attached a picture of the two of them sitting together harmoniously, which two and a half weeks ago I thought would never happen!
Once again, thank you so much for your help.
Kind regards

Several months ago we rescued a 10 month old Cairn terrier "Basil", he had been kept in a pen his whole life with very little human contact or interaction with other dogs.
This terrible start in life had left Basil terrified and unable to cope with the world, he had never been outside, walked on a lead, played with toys or been touched.
After a few sleepless nights we called a local vet which led us to Neil. After an initial meeting with Neil he reassured us that Basil could be a happy, normal dog.
Neil showed us with the correct techniques, patience and gentle guidance the best way forward to rehabilitate Basil.
Neil has always been at the end of the phone or a quick e-mail to help us with any worries or problems as they came up, he visited us regularly and worked on different problems, gradually Basil has been transformed into a fantastic pet. Our whole family love Basil and we are now looking forward to a bright future with a well trained, happy dog. We can not thank Neil enough and without him Basil's story would of been very different.
Thank you Neil we couldn't of done it without you.

Neil came to my house for a 1-2-2 (my daughter was present) session with Bobby Brown my chocolate Labrador - he immediately advised me on how to correct OUR commands and explained how we could be confusing Bobby - he was so right! After his visit we both worked together with Bobby Brown and he was a different dog, he really was... After Neil's visit he was listening to us, respecting us and turning into a joy to be with.
Neil has a talent a real talent that I have to say I have not seen before. He is excellent with dogs but at the same time fantastic with us (the dog owner), he will tell you exactly where you are going wrong but will give you the advice on how to correct it - what more could you ask for.
Since meeting Neil he has changed my relationship with Bobby Brown and also my daughters and I thoroughly recommend him for his training and boarding.. he gives that one to one service which is priceless. He loves what he does, he lives for his dogs and gives that one to one service, which is so rare these days - I am very glad I have met Neil and so is Bobby Brown! What more can I say.... I thoroughly recommend Neil and Heather.

Neil King was recommended to us by our Oscar food Rep. We have had Stanley our chocolate Labrador for seven weeks, he was just over nine months old. Stanley had a few behavioural problems so after four days we contacted Neil, who has been god like to us!! He gave us guidelines on how to be a pack leader so that Stanley would know his place in the home and also to become a member of our family.
Seven weeks ago Neil was our canine behavioural adviser, now we consider him as a good friend.

"With Neil's help, advice, encouragement and, above all, patience, Callie is
becoming a much more manageable and obedient dog. Neil has given us the confidence to control Callie in a way we once did not think would ever be possible!"

Mr King was recommended to me and I am very grateful as I have a very strong difficult
dog with behavioural problems. I found Mr King to be very professional, caring and understanding of my dog and myself, and would highly recommend him in the future.

Neil is always willing to give me help & tips for my Great Dane, Shamak. He is patient and gives me help in a way that is easy to understand and follow through. I find that the advice given is specific to my breed of dog and his temperament.

"The techniques that Neil demonstrated to us have been very beneficial in training both
us and the dog. These included dealing with problems of barking, dominant
behaviour, lack of control on the lead and recall. We have been very impressed with Neils knowledge and expertise and his professional manner "

"I was desperate for help with my two female puppies who were fighting more and more and it had become such a problem having them together in the same room that I was advised by a number of people to part with one of them.
It only took 3 visits from Neil to solve the problem altogether and even after the first visit they started to tolerate each other again. At no point was violence or force used but simple correction of bad behaviour and consistency. We, the owners, had to rethink the way to interact with them which was the cause of all the problems."
